
Valentine Walnut Velvet Cheese Kisses
Cut rind from 12 ounces Brie cheese; cut center into 3/4-inch cubes. Chop 6 green onions and mix with 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. Melt 3 tablespoons butter. Stack 3 sheets phyllo dough (from 1-pound box), brushing first 2 sheets with some butter; cut into eight 5- x 4-inch pieces. On each, place 1 teaspoon of the walnut mixture and top with a Brie cube. Pull up phyllo corners and crimp together above the filling. Place on cookie sheets. Repeat to make 24 kisses. Bake in preheated 350F oven 10 minutes, until browned. Do-Ahead Tip The unbaked kisses can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to 1 day; remove plastic wrap and bake as directed.
