Bloody
Maria
Tequila is a great alternative
to gin or vodka in morning libation especially if it happens to be the hair of
the dog that bit you.
crushed ice
2 shots (2oz) of
your favorite breakfast tequila
1 cup tomato juice
juice of 1/2 mexican or
key lime
dash of worcestershire sauce
freshly ground black pepper
2
celery stalks
favorite hot pepper sauce
Fill a shaker glass with
crushed ice. Add the tequila, tomato juice
lime juice, worcestershire sauce,
and ground pepper to taste.
Shake well. Pour into tall
cocktail glasses filled with
crushed ice, and garnish with a celery stalk.
Let imbibers
add hot sauce to taste.

4 K CHILI
- 5 lbs.. lean meat, chili grind
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large fresh jalapeno, seeded and
chopped
- 1 can beer
- 2 Tbs cumin
- 4 Tbs New Mexico ground red chilies
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. Wick Fowler's Chili Mix
Method: Brown meat. Brown onion,
garlic and jalapeno together. Combine meat with onion mixture, beer, cumin,
chilies, paprika, pepper, Accent, salt and mix. Add Wick Fowler's Mix. Add
water to cover. Stir well. Cook at least two hours or until meat is tender.

TEXAS RANGER NINE BEAN
SOUP
- 2 to 3 cups of Nine Bean Soup Mix
- 1 pound ham, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 10 ounce can Rotel tomatoes and green
chilis
- 1 16 ounce can tomatoes and liquid,
broken up
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Wash and sort beans. Place in a
Dutch oven and cover with water 2 inches above beans. Let soak overnight.
Drain beans. Cover with water and add the other ingredients. Bring to a boil,
reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 2 hours until the beans are done.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Add a little bit of water to prevent
the sticking. Adjust seasonings. Tip your hat to the Texas Rangers. This is
larpin' good!!!
