Just for
the Halibut in White Sauce
2 (12 oz) packages frozen halibut steaks,
thawed
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 c butter
1/3 c dry white wine
2/3 c
milk
Place halibut steaks in crock pot. Combine flour,
sugar and salt. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour
mixture, stir until bubbles. Add the wine and milk and boil for 1
minute or until thickened. Pour the sauce over the fish and cook on
High for 3 hours. Serves 6.
