Barbecued Beef
2-lb. beef chuck
roast, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices 1/2 c. onion,
chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown
sugar, packed 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 1 t. mustard 1/2 t.
salt 1/4 t. pepper 6 to 8 onion buns, split
Combine
all ingredients except buns in a slow cooker; mix well. Cover and
cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally, until
meat is tender. Serve on buns. Makes 6 to 8 sandwiches.
