Chicken and Vegetable Alfredo Pot
Ingredients:
1/3 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup diced celery
1
cup chopped onion
4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
8 oz sliced fresh white mushrooms
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast, diced
2 cup
purchased alfredo sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder1 Tablespoon all purpose
flour
Method
Layer first five ingredients in 4-5 quart crock pot in
order given. Pour broth over top, do not stir, than add diced
chicken. Stir together remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and
spoon over chicken. Do not stir and cover, cook 3-4 hours on high or
6-8 hours on low.
Notes: Serve over hot biscuits for a
delicious and complete
meal.
