Creole Beef
2 lb round steak, cut into chunks
1 onion,
chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 c. spicy V8 juice
2 t.
Worcestershire sauce
1 t. cayenne pepper sauce
1 red bell
pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves of garlic,
mashed
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen okra, defrosted
Layer the
steak on the bottom of the cooker and top
with the onion, celery,
juice, Worcestershire, and
pepper sauce. Cook on low for 6-8
hours. Add the
peppers, garlic, and okra. Cook on high for
30
minutes. Good with cooked white
rice.
