Betty's Crockpot Barbecue


Use beef, chicken, pork, or other meat in this easy barbecue recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds cubed beef or lean pork, or 3 pounds chicken parts
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
salt and pepper and other seasonings, to taste
1 large onion, cut in chunks


PREPARATION:
Season meat or chicken; put in slow cooker. Pour barbecue sauce over meat; add onion. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours, until tender.
Note from Betty: Sometimes I do add a bottle of sweet and sour sauce to it also.
