BAKED
KANSAS CITY-STYLE BEANS
1-1/2 pounds (3 cups) dry navy beans, soaked
overnight 5 cups water 1 onion, diced 2/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 tablespoons salt 1 cup brown sugar, packed 3
tablespoons dark molasses 3 teaspoons dry mustard 1 cup
ketchup 1/2 cup hickory style BBQ sauce 1/2 lb salt pork,
cut in 1/2" cubes
Put all items in Crock Pot (in order
listed). Stir well, cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-6
hours.
