Powdered egg whites (such as Just Whites)STEP
1:
Mix powdered egg whites with enough water to create a thin
mixture. Spread sugar on a large plate. Using a pastry brush, apply a thin coat
of egg white mixture to each fruit, then carefully roll it in sugar and set on
cookie sheet to dry. Allow fruit to dry completely before arranging. Or, to make
an easier -- but inedible -- arrangement, spray fruit lightly with artist's
adhesive, then immediately roll in sugar. Let dry briefly before
arranging.
