ITALIAN SPICE PEPPER COOKIE (100yrs in family)

8 cups flour
2-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Hershery cocoa dry unsweetend
9 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon  ground cloves
2 Teaspoons cinnamon
2 Teaspoons nutmeg
2Teaspoons ground black pepper
2 Teaspoons allspice
ADJUST SPICES  TO YOUR TASTE MORE OR LESS
Mix all dry inggrentents together with
1/2 pound crisco and 1/2 pound maragine  till well incorporated
ADD
I can Hersherys sryup
16oz.Buttermilk
ADD NOW
1CUP Raisins dark or light or mixed
1CUPchopped walnuts
12oz pacakage chocolate chips(  minis are good )
Mix everything all together well

Roll dough into 2in balls
Bake at 350 FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES
DO NOT OVERBAKE WHEN BOTTOMS ARE LIGHT BROWN THERE FINISHED
icing  use powder sugar  anise and milk to make a light glase
these cookies keep very long time in cookie tins
