Christmas Mound Cookies

Centers:
24 ounces flake coconut
1 pound powdered sugar, sifted
1 can sweetened condensed milk (don't know
how to make it so use canned)!

Mix thoroughly.  Roll into 1 inch balls (or smaller I prefer about 3/4
in) freeze.  Mom used to place a toothpick in each one for easy
dipping.

Outside:
12 to 24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate (I use chips)
for each 12 ounces chocolate, 1 ounce paraffin

Melt in double boiler or slow cooker and dip frozen centers.  Freezing
is not absolutely necessary but it helps set up the chocolate really
fast.  I try to store them in the freezer but my family always finds
them and eats them.  I usually end up making a second batch to give
away.  One batch makes about 120 pieces of candy.  They really do
taste a lot like the candy bar.
