B and B Relish

1 1/2 gal. chopped green tomatoes
3 qt. onions, chopped
3 qt. bell peppers, chopped (some red)
2 c. ground hot peppers (some red)
8 c. sugar
1/2 gal. vinegar
1/2 c. salt

After all vegetables are chopped, add sugar and vinegar. Drain tomatoes. Add. Mix well. Simmer. Do not boil. Cook in enamel pot or pan. Seal while hot. Let set about 2 weeks before eating. Makes 8 or 9 quarts
