Apple Relish

tart apples (I use Granny Smith)
6 red bell peppers
6 green bell
peppers
2 hot peppers
3 large onions
1 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 pounds brown
sugar
1 pint vinegar (Cider)
Put apples, peppers and onins in a food
processor and chop until coarse. Put in a large saucepan, add other ingredients
and let come to a boil. Boil for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Put
mixture into hot sterilized jars and seal.
This is great on green beans,
field peas and butter beans. Even better on a grilled ham slice.
