Cabbage Relish

3 large heads, cabbage
chopped/shredded
2 quarts grated onion
2 quarts sugar
2 quarts vinegar
3 Tbsp. salt
6 Tbsp. mustard seeds
3 Tbsp. turmeric
1 cup flour

Cook all ingredients except your flour for 1-1 1/2 hours,or until tender.
 Mix flour with enough water to make a paste and add to other ingredients.
 Stir and cook 10 more minutes.
Pour into hot jars and seal.
This is good with hot dogs and hamburgers.
