Brazil Nut Fruit
Cake
1 pound Brazil nuts 1 pound Walnuts 1 pound
dates 1/2 cup Flour 1/2 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Baking
powder 1 pinch Of salt 2 cups Candied fruit and citron 4
Eggs -- separated
Pour sugar over nuts and dates. Sift
flour, baking powder and salt. Add citron and fruit. Beat
egg yolks and add to other ingredients. Fold in beaten egg
whites. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
