Apple Brandy
Cake
5 tablespoons Apple brandy 4 cups Apples --
peeled and chopped 2 cups Flour -- all-purpose 2 teaspoons
Cinnamon -- ground 2 teaspoons Soda 1 teaspoon Nutmeg --
ground 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Cloves -- ground 1 cup
Walnuts -- chopped 1 cup Raisins 2 cups Sugar 1/2 cup Oil
-- salad 2 Eggs Powdered sugar
Sprinkle brandy over
apples, and set aside. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, nutmeg,
salt, and cloves; stir in walnuts and raisins. Combine sugar,
oil, and eggs; beat well, and blend into flour mixture. Stir in
apples. Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Bake at 375
degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Sift
powdered sugar over top
