1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Pounds Sliced Sausage -- or
meatless sausages
1 Pound White Onions -- finely
chopped
4 Cloves Garlic -- finely
chopped
2 Medium Bay Leaves
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
1 Cup Tomato Sauce
1/2 Cup Red Wine
1/2 Cup Water
Salt And Pepper -- to
taste
In a large skillet, heat the
oil, add sausage and cook until brown. Remove sausage, brown onions
and garlic in the same skillet. Add sausage and remaining
ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
