Shells Giuliano

  • 1 Pound Shell Pasta -- large
  • 1/2 Pound Homemade Italian Style Sausage
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
  • 2 Pounds Plum Tomatoes -- diced
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 1/2 Cup Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley -- chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese

1. Cook pasta as directed.
2. Saute sausage in butter until brown (drain).
3. Add rosemary, tomatoes, 2 Tbsp of water, simmer 5 minutes.
4. Add pepper flakes, salt & pepper, cream and parsley.
5. Simmer until cream reduces to half.
6. Combine with pasta, top with cheese and serve.
