Radical Honeyed Ribs (China)

  • 1/4 Cup Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic -- crushed
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic -- crushed
  • 2 Teaspoons Onion -- dried
  • 1/2 Teaspoon 5 Spice Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Basil
  • 1 Teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  • 3 Pounds Ribs -- separated
  • 1 Cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Honey 
  • Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic, onion and spices in a large bowl. Add ribs, cover and marinate in refrigerator, for at least 12 hours. Pour off marinade into small saucepan. bring to boil for 5 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients, and 2 tablespoons of marinade in large bowl. Broil or grill ribs, basting generously with marinade.
