Navajo Fry Bread
3 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/3 Cups Warm Water
Oil For Frying
Mix flour, salt and baking
powder together. add warm water and knead bread dough until soft.
roll the dough to 1/4 inch thick. then cut out rounds 4 inches in
diameter. fry the bread in 2 inches of oil until puffed and brown on
both sides. |
